Tiana Hood is a finance and accounting professional with almost 15 years of experience in a wide variety of industries including solar, restaurants and consumer products. She was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in economics from Eastern Michigan University. She later completed a Master’s degree in accounting from the University of Colorado. She currently serves as Head of Finance for Conergy, a downstream solar company specializing in the development and operations of utility scale solar systems, where she manages financial operations for the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Prior to working at Conergy, Tiana spent six years at the successful start-up Smashburger where she built and developed the finance and accounting teams to support growth from one location in Denver, Colorado to over 250 international locations. Currently, Tiana lives in Salt Lake City where she enjoys taking advantage of the wide range of outdoor activities including snowboarding, hiking, biking and camping.
